Purity

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem,

Al Quddus. Purity. Holiness. One. One with no other.

We were created, we are a creation. Free will can be debated for centuries, with no conclusive end result.

So, we must have a single choice? This is my conclusion, yet I debated with myself. Clarity: To choose submission, or to not. A single choice.

Choose Khalid.

I repeat what I have said before. My decision was made before the first primitive atom was created!

I was chosen to be among those who worship, so worship I will!

Purify my soul, let my Wudu even be a form of deep worship, before worship. Before worship, after worship… I must always worship You!

Is a daily activity, such as going to my classes, a way to love you? I believe so.

But! If I stray from you with ill intent, or ever fall out of love with you, Astagfirullah! You may strike me down.

I believe my intentions to be good, if not pure, for right now I am not. I am a man named Khalid. I will sin. I will pray and ask for Your forgiveness. This is all. Until, InshaAllah, NO sin becomes habit.

For the only time I feel an ounce of purity is when I connect with you, The Purest. Al- Quddus

The only time I feel at ease is when I fall into submission to You, my Lord.
